Looking for a lively guy around my age I was born 9 months to the day that my Daddy came home from WWII. If that doesn't make me a baby boomer, I don't know what does! We should have a lot in common. We remember the things that happened in history: Viet Nam, the first man to walk on the moon, the day Kennedy died, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, etc. To our children & grandkids these are just history, but we remember where we were, how we felt, etc. Remember those awful clothes we wore in the 70's? We were the "Me" generation, now look what we've done.
Now our time has come, we are retiring and collecting Social Security & Medicare. Sure hope they will still be around as long as we need them. I do love my recliner, but I'm not ready for a rocking chair. I still have a lot of living to do. Now I have the time, unfortunately I don't have the money, but I've learned to enjoy a lot of things that are low cost or even free. I'll let you use your imagination to things of things we can do, while we still can. ha ha!
