old flower child I'm retired, worked in the electronics side of scientific instruments (think spectrometers, electron microscopes... all those fun instruments you can't get your hands on for less than a couple hundred thousand) and medical research (implanting micro-electronics in blind people's eyes to give sight), have a few patents under my belt.
