Striving for Excellence, not Perfection I think being honest, straight-forward and true to yourself are the most important things in making yourself a quality person. I prefer to relate to people who see the positive side in even the darkest times. I prefer someone who is extremely patient, accepting, forgiving and who has a sense of humor.
Being that we are Baby Boomers, I know we are set in our ways, more often than not, so I am seeking someone who has MANY of the same qualities, likes, and hobbies so that we can just get on with our lives. All the changing and adjusting we have done for others in the past has helped mold who we are today. At this point in life, I am a bit too old to readjust my entire life for someone all over again. I would like to be content and accepting of the one I find to share life with. Nobody needs to "change" for anyone else at this stage in our lives. That is only my perspective - nobody has to agree if they don't want to!
